LVSUN Launches a 65W PD 3.2 AVS GaN Charger for iPhone 18 Pro Fast Charging
LVSUN has developed a 65W GaN wall charger that supports USB PD 3.2 SPR AVS, the charging profile Apple specifies for iPhone 18 Pro fast charging. It also works with PPS and standard USB PD devices and comes with interchangeable plugs for international markets.
Key takeaways
- iPhone 18 Pro fast charging needs a 60W+ adapter with AVS and a 60W-rated USB-C cable; this 65W charger covers the adapter side.
- Supports USB PD 3.2 SPR AVS, plus PPS and fixed-voltage PD for existing USB-C devices.
- Five interchangeable plugs — US, EU, UK, Australia and Korea.
- Compact GaN design for daily use and travel.
Apple’s iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max fast charge with a USB-C power adapter that delivers 60W or more and supports Adjustable Voltage Supply (AVS). LVSUN has developed a 65W GaN charger built for that profile. It supports USB PD 3.2 SPR AVS, works with the PD and PPS devices people already own, and ships with interchangeable plugs for international markets.
What AVS changes for iPhone 18 Pro charging
AVS stands for Adjustable Voltage Supply. Instead of switching between a few fixed voltages, the phone can ask the charger for a more precise voltage as its battery fills and its temperature changes. For the iPhone 18 Pro models, Apple asks for three things: an adapter that can supply 60W or more, AVS support, and a USB-C cable rated for 60W or higher. Under Apple’s test conditions, that combination charges the phone to about 50 percent in around 15 minutes. Real-world times depend on the cable, temperature, battery level and what the phone is doing while it charges.
The LVSUN charger is rated at 65W and supports USB PD 3.2 SPR AVS, so it meets the adapter side of that requirement with headroom. Gallium nitride (GaN) power components keep it small enough for a desk drawer or a travel bag.
One charger for more than one device
USB-C now powers far more than phones. Since April 2026 the EU common charger rules have applied to laptops as well as handheld electronics, and more tablets and portable computers charge over USB-C. Buyers increasingly expect one charger to serve several devices, so iPhone compatibility is only part of the purchase decision.
AVS is the headline feature, but the charger also supports PPS and the fixed-voltage profiles used by earlier USB PD devices. When a connected device does not use AVS, the charger and the device negotiate a profile they both support. That makes it suitable for compatible phones, tablets and some USB-C laptops, within each device’s power requirements.
In our protocol testing, the charger was also detected as supporting QC 5, QC 3.0, UFCS, SCP, FCP and AFC — fast-charging protocols used by many Android phones.
Interchangeable plugs for international markets
The charger comes with five interchangeable plugs — US, EU, UK, Australia and Korea. Together they cover almost every market worldwide. For distributors and brands selling into several markets, that means one core product rather than a separate charger for every plug type.

For retailers, distributors and brands
Retailers can stock the same 65W unit for iPhone 18 Pro fast charging and for the USB-C devices their customers already own, instead of building an accessory line around a single phone model. LVSUN has designed and manufactured chargers since 2000. Contact our team for samples, pricing, plug configurations and OEM options.
Charging performance depends on the connected device, cable, battery condition, settings, usage and ambient temperature. iPhone is a trademark of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries. LVSUN is not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple.
